About the Role
Proxima Solutions is growing and we need someone to take ownership of our procurement function. You’ll manage supplier relationships, source equipment and materials, process purchase orders, and ensure we get the best value on every purchase. This is a junior role with real responsibility and room to grow.
What You’ll Do
- Source and evaluate suppliers for equipment, materials and services
- Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement documents
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms and contracts with vendors
- Maintain an accurate supplier and inventory database
- Coordinate with the technical team on equipment specifications
- Track deliveries and resolve supply chain issues
- Prepare procurement reports for management
Who We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Business
- At least 1 year of procurement or purchasing experience (internship counts)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- High integrity and attention to detail
- Based in Kampala
