Support to operationalize the accounting function of the University.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Participate in the revenue Budget Preparation, monitoring & control;
2. Maintain accounting records and reporting;
3. Monitor revenue and expenditure performance against budget;
4. Reconcile revenue collected to the bank account;
5. Review accounting systems identify weaknesses and propose improvements;
6. Contribute towards innovations, creativity and fundraising strategy;
7. Process payments and perform clerical works as assigned;
8. Perform any other related duties as maybe assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
Honours B.Com/BBA (Finance and Accounting), BSc. Finance or CPA (U) or ACCA or an Honours Bachelor’s Degree with a bias in accounting option obtained from a recognised awarding institution.
