Job Overview
Responsible for supervising and coordinating Feed logistics, boat movements, and ensuring that all logistics equipment and vessels are in good working condition.
KEY DUTIES (General)
- Weekly logistics planning on lake (cage movements, feed, people, platforms)
- Ensuring accurate delivery of feed to the feed platforms at nursery and Grow out sites on the lake and sharing reports on ratios of dispatched
- Coordinate daily feed warehouse activities like housekeeping,
- Ensure that feed is properly delivered to the requesting departments on time and in right
- Scheduled maintenance- planned downtime of feed platforms, movement to harbor, communicate well with Engineering
- Conduct daily and monthly stock take exercise to ensure that no shortages are
- Scheduled Boat and outboard maintenance; effectively planned with engineering
- Leave planning for coxswains, pusher boat and telehandler operator and Feed logistics general workers.
- Discipline: flagging discipline issues, escalating quickly and effectively to Team lead and HR
- Reporting: efficiencies, fuel consumption, downtime on boats
- Ensuring that the telehandler delivers nets on time to the designated
- Ensure adherence to Yalelo Uganda health and safety policies at the
- Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by the Team Lead and Line

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
-Good planning
-Computer literacy, excel, word
-Boat operation experience beneficial but not required
-Bsc. Fisheries and Aquaculture, and or logistics and supply chain management.
