Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and implementation of the stakeholder engagement strategy in collaboration with the study leadership.
2. Lead in the development of study protocols, SOPs, data collection tools as well as consent forms.
3. Support day-to-day coordination and implementation of study activities in line with approved protocols, work plans, and budgets.
4. Lead in scheduling, tracking, and reporting progress against project milestones and deliverables.
5. Monitor project expenditures and support budget tracking in liaison with the finance team.
6. Act as the liaison between the project and stakeholders, including: MOH, Hospital management, DHOs and other partners
7. Organize co-design workshops, dissemination meetings, and stakeholder feedback sessions. 8. Document and follow up on action points from stakeholder engagements.
9. Coordinate preparation of ethics submissions, regulatory documents, and progress reports.
10. Maintain effective communication across the consortium partners.

Education and Experience: The applicant for the WALIMU Project Coordinator job must have;
1. Clinical training in Nursing or Medicine at the bachelor’s level
2. Graduate training in public health is an added advantage
3. At least 5 years of experience in coordinating clinical research studies
4. Experience in other health research and development projects is highly desirable
5. Experience in stakeholder engagement, preferably in health system strengthening or clinical research.
6. Familiarity with clinical trials coordination, ethical submissions, budget development and management, and donor reporting.
7. Proven skills in policy dialogue, facilitation, negotiation, and consensus building.
8. Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
9. Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
10. Experience working with government institutions, hospitals, and NGOs. Desired Competencies
