What is Value Really?

Once upon a time, there was a mechanical power shutdown in some factory. No machine could be powered up and the senior team had tried for long time all options but all failed.

The factory management decided to call a skilled mechanical engineer. The Mechanical engineer came to the factory. He listened and got all the challenge the factory was going through.

He only picked one hammer in his bag and looked for one specific spot, no sooner had he made 3 knocks than all the machines in the factory were powered up. After all this, he demanded 2000 USD for his work.

When the information reached the director of the factory about the bill, he not happy because the engineer spent only 10 minutes. He told the mechanical engineer to itemize his invoice. The engineer simply wrote back saying for hitting the hammer 10 USD and for knowing where to hit 1990 USD. The director immediately had to pay the engineer his bill. I suppose knowing where to hit was the value the mechanical engineer had.

I believe if we become valuable in this world the world will pay us for being ourselves.
