– Professional development fund of USD 2,500 per year for travel or research expenses
– Applicants from any university worldwide are eligible, including international scholars.
-Each applicant must identify at least one Harvard faculty host who will act as a mentor and provide workspace during the fellowship.
– Applicants who earned their degree at Harvard may apply only if their proposed research represents a new direction distinct from previous work.
Fellows must be able to reside in Cambridge, Massachusetts, for the duration of the program.
– A five-page research proposal detailing the project’s significance and connection to Harvard’s resources
– Up to three writing samples or publications
– Three letters of reference, including one from the dissertation advisor
– A letter of support from the intended Harvard faculty host
