Thenuel Debate and Literary Phronesis (TDELF)
Thenuel Debate and Literary Phronesis (TDELF) is a dynamic youth-led organization based in Kumi, Uganda, dedicated to empowering young people through debate, literature, and mentorship. By fostering critical thinking, public speaking, and phronesis (practical wisdom), TDELF nurtures a new generation of ethical, visionary leaders.
With a growing community of over 2,400 followers on social media, TDELF runs impactful programs such as leadership and communication trainings, arts and literary workshops, and community-centered dialogues that spark innovation and civic engagement among youth.
Synergy with the Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) — a pan-African initiative under the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International — identifies, mentors, and celebrates young innovators aged 16–25 who are transforming their communities across Africa through projects in education, health, entrepreneurship, and social impact.
TDELF’s mission aligns powerfully with FALF’s vision to raise a continent of purpose-driven young leaders. Through collaboration, TDELF’s debaters and creative thinkers could gain a continental platform to showcase their leadership and innovation, while FALF’s mentorship, training, and recognition programs could significantly expand TDELF’s reach and impact in Eastern Uganda and beyond.
Together, they can inspire a movement of articulate, wise, and community-driven African youth shaping a brighter future.
