Description

Individuals and groups who wish to enter a design for the KOKUYO DESIGN AWARD 2026 must complete Step 1 (Register Your Entrant Information), Step 2 (Register Design Information), and Step 3 (Submit Design) using the ENTRY pages on our website.
Registrations/Design submissions will be accepted beginning July 25 to 12:00 (noon) JST on October 8.
We look forward to seeing your amazing designs.

KOKUYO Design Award

Oranisation Overview

The KOKUYO Design Award is an international product design competition aimed at supporting and co-creating with talented designers .

Entries are accepted on themes that reflect current social conditions, and winning designs will be considered for commercialization through collaboration between the winners and KOKUYO product developers.
By bringing outstanding designs that breathe new life into familiar tools used in daily life and work to market as solid products, the award supports designers' future endeavors and aims to create exciting new ways of working and living in the future.

In the 24 years since its inception, the award has produced over 20 products.
It continues to evolve as a project that goes beyond simply selecting and awarding awards to communicate values that reflect the times.
