Description

The Meaningful Entrepreneurship Residency 2026 is now open for applications. This intensive, four-week residential program in Copenhagen is designed for early-stage founders who want to build purpose-driven ventures while living and learning within a supportive and collaborative community. With only 14 spots available, the residency offers a highly curated environment focused on innovation, sustainability, and impact.

About the Residency

The residency provides founders with a unique opportunity to spend one month fully immersed in developing their entrepreneurial ideas. Participants live and work together, engage in collaborative learning, and receive guidance to shape ideas into meaningful, socially conscious ventures.

To ensure a committed and diverse cohort, the application process evaluates each applicant’s background, motivation, and readiness to take part in this intensive experience.

Who Can Apply?

The program targets early-stage entrepreneurs, aspiring founders, and individuals passionate about creating solutions to societal challenges. Applicants should be ready to commit full-time to the month-long experience and be genuinely motivated to develop their business ideas.

Application Requirements

Applicants will be asked to provide essential details including:

  • Personal information such as name, age, nationality, and location
  • Educational and professional background
  • Motivation for joining the residency
  • What they hope to gain from the program
  • Information about their startup idea or project
  • The societal issues they are passionate about
  • What they can contribute to the group, including mindset, skills, and experience

Applicants may also upload any presentations or documents describing their current project or business idea.

Scholarships and Financial Support

To ensure accessibility, the Meaningful Entrepreneurship Residency offers several financial support options:

  • 2 fully funded scholarships for applicants who would not otherwise be able to participate
  • 2 semi-funded scholarships (50% discount)
  • A discounted fee (€1,500) for participants already living in Copenhagen (no accommodation included)

Scholarship selection prioritizes applicants who demonstrate strong motivation, financial need, or belong to marginalized or underrepresented communities.

Selection & Notification

All applications will be reviewed by the residency team. Successful applicants will receive an email with detailed next steps, including instructions on how to secure their spot by paying the participation fee.

Oranisation Overview

We're at a pivotal moment where traditional business models have created unprecedented prosperity alongside the challenges we now collectively face—from climate change to rising inequality. This tension creates an opportunity for transformation. While alternative approaches like the circular economy and regenerative business offer promising paths forward, our entrepreneurial education and support systems haven't evolved to embrace these possibilities.

Our research reveals this disconnect clearly: Gen Z seeks personal passion (52%) and social impact (36%) as primary motivations, yet struggles to find frameworks that integrate profit with values, education that builds purpose-driven ventures rather than conventional business skills, and funding models that prioritize meaningful impact alongside financial returns.
