Requirements for Chang Gung University Scholarship Qualification

1. An individual of foreign nationality, who has never held a nationality status from the Republic of China and who does not possess an overseas Chinese student status at the time of his/her application, is qualified to apply for admission.
2. An applicant with a high school diploma is eligible to apply for undergraduate programs (However, the applicant who has completed the courses of a study program in Taiwan as a foreign student is NOT eligible to apply for an undergraduate program); an applicant with a bachelor’s degree is eligible to apply for master’s degree programs; an applicant with a master’s degree is eligible to apply for doctoral programs at CGU.
3. Applicants applying with a degree from Mainland China are subjected to the following regulations:
   • The university must be listed under MOE’s List of Recognized Higher Education Institutions in Mainland China (Chinese Version only).
   • The period of study must fulfill the requirements of the Regulations on Academic Qualifications from Mainland China (Chinese version only).
4. Applicants applying with a degree from Hong Kong, or Macao are subjected to the following regulations:
   • The university must be listed under MOE’s List of Recognized Junior Colleges and Institutions of Higher Education in Hong Kong (Chinese version only); or the program, department, or institute must be recognized by the Education Bureau of Hong Kong or Macao, or by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications.
