The Stanbic GreenTech Accelerator is a transformative initiative co-implemented by SBIL and the Embassy of France in Uganda. This programme is designed to empower youth- and women-led enterprises that are driving innovation in Uganda’s green economy.
We aim to support growth-stage businesses with the capacity, strategies, and networks needed to scale their impact across sectors such as:
- Renewable Energy
- Sustainable Agriculture
- Waste Management
- Circular Economy
- Green Mobility
- Water and Health
- Natural Resource Management
The programme specifically targets enterprises operating in Hoima District and the Kampala Metropolitan Area.
The accelerator spans 3 months of intensive training, followed by ongoing mentorship and support.
Eligibility Criteria
Are you:
A legally registered, youth- or women-led enterprise operating in Uganda?
Active in one of the targeted green sectors listed above?
Operational for at least 2 years with a minimum annual turnover of UGX 50 million?
