Oranisation Overview

Trinity College Dublin (TCD) is Ireland's oldest university, founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I on the site of a former monastery, the Priory of All Hallows. For its first two centuries, it was an exclusively Protestant institution, with Catholics not admitted until 1793 and women not until 1904. Located in Dublin's city center, the university is home to significant artifacts like the Book of Kells and the 1916 Proclamation.
