Erasmus Mundus MAGMa Program Structure
Applicants must complete their Master’s Program from at least 3 different Locations.

- Semester 1 in Lisbon at ISCTE Instituto Universitário de Lisboa
- Semester 2 in Paris at IESA Arts and Culture
- Summer School in Glasgow at the University of Glasgow (optional)
- Semester 3 in Rotterdam at Erasmus University Rotterdam
- Winter School in Mumbai (optional)
- Semester 4 in the city of your choice: You will return to one of the specified locations to complete your dissertation, with the choice based on your research topic

Degree Type
Graduates of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) in Managing Art & Cultural Heritage in Global Markets (MAGMa) receive a multiple degree, comprising four postgraduate certificates awarded by all five institutions in the MAGMa consortium.
- International Master’s in Managing Art & Cultural Heritage in Global Markets (University of Glasgow)
- Master of Arts in Art Markets (ISCTE in association with Universidade de Lisboa)
- Certificate of Completion, Cultural Project Administrator (IESA arts&culture)
- Master of Arts in Arts and Culture Studies – Specialization: Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship (Erasmus University Rotterdam)
Eligibility Criteria
- The Scholarship is open to all Nationals from around the Globe.
- UK applicants: 2:1 Honours Degree.
- Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree.
- EU & International applicants: Check country-specific GPA requirements.
- Proof of English Language Proficiency.

To apply for the Erasmus Mundus scholarship, when applications open, you must complete the following steps:
- Visit our How to Apply webpage, and follow Steps 1-4.
- At Step 5, download and complete the MAGMa 2025 Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Application form.
- Upload the completed form to your application simultaneously with your Programme application.
- Follow Steps 6-8.
To be considered for a scholarship, you must submit a complete application with all supporting documents before the deadline.
