Created to strengthen global academic collaboration and support the internationalisation of Hungarian higher education, the programme offers generous support for students at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, One-Tier Master’s, and Doctoral levels.
Through bilateral agreements between Hungary and partner countries, the scholarship now reaches candidates from over 90 nations, offering more than 1,200 full-degree programs across nearly every field of study. Each year, tens of thousands of applicants seek to join this unique opportunity to study in the heart of Europe.

– Full tuition coverage for the entire study period
– Monthly stipends to support living expenses
– Accommodation support, either through a free dormitory place or a contribution toward rental costs
– Medical insurance in line with Hungarian regulations, plus supplementary coverage
– Doctoral candidates benefit from increased monthly stipends during each phase of their programme.
– Be at least 18 years old by 31 August 2026
– Not be enrolled in any Hungarian institution on a self-funded basis
– Not have previously received this scholarship
